Section-Wise Preparation Strategy

⚖ Legal Aptitude (35 marks) — Your Biggest Score Lever

Focus on Principle-Fact questions, legal maxims, landmark Indian cases, and constitutional concepts. Do not memorise bare acts — understand principles and apply them. This section directly rewards students who practise applying logic to legal situations.

🌐 General Knowledge (35 marks) — Daily 30 Minutes

Cover static GK (Indian Constitution, History, Geography, Polity) plus legal current affairs from the last 12 months — Supreme Court judgements, new laws, constitutional amendments. Read The Hindu or Indian Express for 30 minutes every day without fail.

📚 English (30 marks) — Quick Wins Available

Reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and para-jumbles. PU English is scoring with regular reading. Solve 1 RC passage daily, focus on error spotting and sentence correction, and build vocabulary through context — not word lists.

🧠 Logical Reasoning (30 marks) — Pure Practice

Syllogisms, blood relations, direction sense, coding-decoding, and critical reasoning. These are formula-based and highly scoring. Dedicate 30 minutes daily to reasoning puzzles. Aim to solve each question in under 45 seconds.

📈 Quantitative Aptitude (20 marks) — Don't Ignore It

Basic arithmetic, percentages, ratios, and averages. PU Quant is Class 10 level — but 20 marks can change your rank by 200 positions. Revise basic formulas and solve 10 questions daily for 6 weeks before the exam.

Month-by-Month Preparation Plan

📅 Month 1 — Foundation

Complete English grammar basics, Legal Aptitude concepts (torts, contracts, criminal law principles), Static GK, and Reasoning fundamentals. 2-3 hours daily.

📅 Month 2 — Section Depth

Legal Aptitude PYQs (2018-2024), current affairs last 6 months, RC passages daily, Quant formula revision. Section-wise timed tests every weekend.

📅 Month 3 — Mock Tests

2 full mock tests per week. Analyse every mistake. Target: 150 questions in 120 minutes (48 seconds per question). Double down on weak sections.

📅 Final 2 Weeks — Revision Only

No new topics. Revise notes, legal maxims, GK facts, formulas. 1 mock every 2 days. Sleep 7+ hours. You've done the work — trust it.
