What is SLAT 2027?
SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) is a national-level online entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes at four Symbiosis Law Schools: SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur. Unlike CLAT (offline, five sections) and AILET (offline OMR, three sections), SLAT is a computer-based test (CBT) with a single composite paper — fast-moving, but with no penalty for wrong answers.

SLAT 2027 Exam Pattern — The 5-Section Split
Five sections of 12 questions each, equal weightage, no sectional time limit, +1 per correct answer, no negative marking. Since every question carries the same mark and wrong answers cost nothing, the optimal SLAT strategy is simple: attempt everything, and use elimination only to save time.

SLAT 2027 Registration Fees — How the Math Works
SLAT charges a per-test fee plus a per-campus programme fee. Since you select campuses during registration (and cannot change them later), the smart approach is to decide your campus list before you pay:

Selection: SLAT + PI (WAT is Gone)
Selection is a two-stage process. Stage 1 is the SLAT CBT (60 marks). Stage 2 is the Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates. A key update for the current cycle: the Writing Ability Test (WAT) has been discontinued since 2026, so the final merit combines only SLAT score + PI. A five-month arc from July to November 2026, leaving December for exam execution:
