If you are in Mohali and still deciding which law entrance to sit, the short answer is that
Punjab students realistically choose between CLAT for the national law universities, PU CET (UG) Law for
Panjab University, and AILET for NLU Delhi, with SLAT as a private-university option and the PU three-year LLB route for graduates.
Most of that preparation overlaps, so one batch at Surya Law Academy (Sector 25-D, Chandigarh, 5 minutes from Panjab University) covers
several exams at once. Compare the options below, then open the exam-specific page for your city. Call 8591850950 or WhatsApp to talk it through.

A Note for Students from MohaliMohali shares the greater Chandigarh conurbation; the Mohali International Cricket Stadium and the Chandigarh airport (CHD) are its best-known landmarks, and it has no separate law college so entrants commute to Chandigarh.
✓ How Mohali students study with us:
20 minutes away — students commute to the Sector 25-D centre or join the live-online batch on weekdays. The team also runs a free Check-Your-Level test so you can judge your current CLAT readiness before committing.
Where a Mohali Student Can Actually Study Law
Students from Punjab and Chandigarh have the widest choice in the region, because Panjab University sits right at the centre of it. That usually means choosing between a national route and a strong local route, rather than one or the other.
Panjab University (UILS), Chandigarh
Five-year BA LLB through PU CET (UG) Law, and a three-year LLB through the PU LLB entrance. PU also runs regional law centres at Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.
RGNUL, Patiala
The national law university located in Punjab. Admission is through CLAT.
Army Institute of Law, Mohali
Admission is through the AIL LET entrance, held separately from CLAT.
Punjabi University Patiala and GNDU Amritsar
State university law departments, each with its own admission process.
✓ The realistic route for Punjab students:
The common pattern is to prepare for CLAT and PU CET Law in the same cycle. The syllabus overlaps heavily, so a single batch covers both and you keep two realistic shots at a good law school instead of one.
Which Law Entrance Should You Target?
Five exams are worth knowing about before you pick a batch. Surya Law Academy prepares students for all of them in the same programme.

Students from Mohali (12 km from SLA, 20 min by auto or bus) join classroom or live online batches. Punjab students also pair PU CET Law with CLAT & AILET in the same cycle.
Which law entrance exam should a Mohali student target?
It depends on where you want to study. The common pattern is to prepare for CLAT and PU CET Law in the same cycle. The syllabus overlaps heavily, so a single batch covers both and you keep two realistic shots at a good law school instead of one. Surya Law Academy coaches for CLAT, AILET, PU CET (UG) Law, the PU three-year LLB and SLAT, so you do not have to decide before you join.
Can I prepare for CLAT and PU CET Law at the same time?
Yes, and most of our students from Mohali do exactly that. The two exams share most of their syllabus, so one batch covers both and you keep more than one realistic shot at a good law school.
Is there a law university in Punjab?
Yes. RGNUL in Patiala is a national law university inside Punjab and admits through CLAT, and Panjab University in Chandigarh runs UILS with its own PU CET (UG) Law entrance.
Do I have to move to Chandigarh to prepare for a law entrance from Mohali?
No. Mohali is 12 km from SLA, about 20 min by auto or bus from the academy. Students within commuting distance attend the Sector 25-D centre, and everyone else joins the live online batch with the same faculty and hardcopy material delivered to their city. Hostel and PG assistance is available if you do want to shift.
Which law entrance exams does Surya Law Academy coach for?
CLAT, AILET, PU CET (UG) Law, the Panjab University three-year LLB entrance, SLAT and other state law entrances, all from the Sector 25-D centre in Chandigarh and in live online batches. The academy has run law entrance coaching since 2012.
